Sister Nivedita University aims to actualize Sister Nivedita's educational vision of harmoniously blending the spirit of service, social responsibility, and intellectual curiosity. In tune with this vision, the students of this institution are motivated to cultivate the great virtues of compassion, empathy, and critical thinking as emphasized in Sister Nivedita's teachings, in conjunction with modern scientific temper and spirit of free inquiry into the truth. In doing so, we place before our students as an ideal the life of Sister Nivedita, who harmoniously combined within herself both the passion for social service and the pursuit of knowledge, inspiring us to become active agents of positive change in society.
Sister Nivedita University's Honour Code for Students serves as a guiding framework for upholding the highest standards in all pursuits, including academic work, to embody the University's mission, vision, and values. This code fosters a culture of integrity, responsibility, and mutual respect within the University community.
